Hello beautiful people! Just getting back from a weekend getaway in Toronto and I must say I had such a blast! Despite low temps (I had to buy gloves and a heavy scarf!) and a few rain showers I was able to see and do a lot in the couple of days that I spent there. It felt like I’d been visiting for the first time even though I had been a bunch of times before. What made this visit different  was that it was just me on my terms. Usually I’m heading there for a family event so the opportunities to really enjoy the city itself are always limited. I’ve been looking to get into solo travel but I was a bit nervous. A few days in Toronto was the perfect way to dip my toe in the pool and I’m so glad I did. There’s something pretty amazing about being able to just do you while you’re on vacation. I won’t bore you with a long play by play of my trip from start to finish but I will certainly share the highlights in case you are thinking of traveling there too.

Graffiti Chaser

Artist- Greg Mike

You guys will have to forgive me for posting this so late! I took a quick trip to West Palm Beach, FL last month and I wanted to share some of the cool stuff I saw. If you’ve seen my instagram you know that I love street art. I’ve never met a tagged wall I didn’t like. I’m so into it that I look for cool walls everywhere I go. My friends and family will tell you If I’m traveling somewhere, and even when I’m going someplace close to home, I usually know where the graffiti is long before I get there.  (more…)

A Love Letter to Summer

Dear Summer, I LOVE YOU.

I frolicked in the grass. I sipped on lots of rosé…and other delicious cocktails. I had good times with friends. I shared special moments with family. I almost drowned…sadly this is true. I made peace with exes. I celebrated love. I tried to find love. I started a new job. I ate delicious food. I laughed until I cried. I danced until my feet hurt. I lived and then lived some more. I’m so grateful to have experienced each and every moment. I would not have changed anything about it.

Since Dirty Dancing is my number one all time favorite movie, it must be said that I truly had the time of my life and I owe it all to you, Summer. Can’t wait see you again in 2018.
